This policy does not affect your statutory rights. For online purchases, you may cancel eligible goods within 14 days from the day after delivery. Once you tell us you are cancelling, you have a further 14 days to return them. Some goods may be exempt from cancellation rights where the law allows.
Email thefancydress.co.uk@gmail.com or use our Contact Us page. Include your name, order number and the goods you wish to return. We will provide return instructions. You do not need to give a reason.
For a change-of-mind cancellation, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods only where this was made clear before you placed the order. Please return goods within 14 days after telling us you are cancelling. You may handle goods to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning as you could in a shop. We may make a lawful deduction if handling goes beyond this and reduces the goods’ value; original packaging is not a condition of exercising cancellation rights.
If you cancel the whole order, we will refund the price and the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option. Any additional cost for a more expensive delivery option is not refundable. We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods or you provide evidence that you sent them, whichever happens first. Approved refunds are made to the original payment method.
Please contact us promptly at thefancydress.co.uk@gmail.com with your order number and a description of the issue. We will discuss the available remedy. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you may have a 30-day short-term right to reject faulty goods for a refund. After that, repair or replacement is generally the first remedy, with a price reduction or final right to reject available in qualifying circumstances. We will not replace these rights with store credit.
